Monday

Give your week a rock start with a live show at Dickens featuring Temptress, with special guests Space Queen and Row of Giants. Temptress fuse drone, doom, post-rock and classic metal, and the supporting acts are just as experimental.

Tuesday

Relax and find peace of mind with a Sound Bath & Yin Meditation session at Regal Cat Café in Kensington — yes, with cats. The class is beginner-friendly, and all poses are optional. Tickets are $30. Come for the sound bath, stay for the cats.

Wednesday

Head to The GRAND and celebrate International Dance Day with one of the most iconic musicals ever, Singin’ in the Rain. Expect splashy choreography, toe-tapping numbers and Golden Age Hollywood charm. Come early to grab a slice from Uncle Fatih’s and settle in with a sparkling cocktail.

Thursday

Book lovers, don’t miss the Calgary Book Sale at Crossroads Market. With more than 100,000 titles, it’s one of the city’s biggest literary events. The sale runs through mid-May, with $2 admission and free parking on site.

Friday

Alberta Ballet closes its season with Notre-Dame de Paris at the Jubilee. Roland Petit’s dramatic adaptation follows Esmeralda and Quasimodo through love, obsession and tragedy. The run continues until May 2.

Sunday

The Tribute Fest lands at Commonwealth Bar & Stage on Sunday, featuring music by The Killers, Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys and Oasis. Sing along to your favourite songs and immerse yourself in pure indie-rock nostalgia!
