TUESDAY

Honour Remembrance Day at one of the city’s ceremonies. The Hangar Flight Museum will host an outdoor service at 10:15 a.m., and the Military Museums at 11:45 a.m. Both museums will open to the public afterward, with admission by donation.

WEDNESDAY

Catch The Drawer Boy at The Theatre (yes, that’s their name). Directed by Michael Healey, it tells the story of two Ontario farmers whose quiet lives are disrupted by an unexpected visitor and long-buried family secrets. It’s a funny and moving Canadian classic about friendship, truth, and everyday heroism. The show runs through Saturday. Tickets are $28 at thetheatre.com.

THURSDAY

Calgary comic book artist Aaron Navrady opens a week-long exhibition of original comic book pages from his debut graphic novel, The Cold Fire — a medieval epic about a Norman Crusader. Join him for the opening at NVRLND Boutique, with an artist talk at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Shop local handmade crafts, vintage clothing, and artisan treats — but most importantly, soak in the cheerful holiday atmosphere. And while you’re at it, check out our November issue of The Scene; there’s a guide on markets to get you through the season!

SUNDAY
