MONDAY

Start the week off with a musical bonanza at 7:30 p.m. at StoryBook Theatre. Singers @ Snowfall showcases the vocal talents of artists as they perform Broadway’s biggest hits, while raising money for the organization’s fundraiser, StoryBook’s Ellie Tims Project. Tickets are $25, and a portion of the proceeds goes toward helping families participate in Storybook Theatre’s programs, regardless of their financial situation.

TUESDAY

Make your Tuesday creative! Calgary Brewhouse in Mahogany is hosting a paint night where you can sip on your favourite beverage while learning to create fun art pieces. Tickets are $43 and include access from 7 to 9:15 p.m.

WEDNESDAY

Head over to The Attic Bar and Stage for a laughter-filled evening, courtesy of Sam Sferrazza on his Sam Goes West comedy tour. The show begins at 7 p.m., and advance tickets are $20; at the door, $25.

THURSDAY

Indulge in deliciously cheesy dishes from participating restaurants across the city. Thursday marks the beginning of the Calgary Mac and Cheese Festival, which runs from the 15th to the 31st. The best part is you get to decide which restaurant made the perfect dish, and vote for the best mac and cheese in Calgary.

FRIDAY

Start off your weekend with the perfect date night at the Calgary Central Library. On Friday at 6:30 p.m., Candlelight Concerts is putting on a tribute to Adele. For a little over three bucks, enjoy this perfect spot with amazing music while thousands of beautiful candles glow.

SATURDAY

Are you a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean, Dune, or The Dark Knight? Check out the Jack Singer Concert Hall on Saturday for The Music of Hans Zimmer, a tribute to the grammy winning film score composer. The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra is putting on this event, with shows at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and ticket prices ranging from $32 to $105.

SUNDAY

Finish off your weekend with a trip to Ranchmans from 5:00 p.m. to 11 p.m. for a night of country classics. The Gift: An Ian Tyson Tribute celebrates Ian Tyson’s five-decade career, with selections from deep in his catalogue. No harm in getting into the Stampede spirit a bit early.
