Monday
Kick off your week in a crafty way by creating beeswax candles at Cold Garden. Crafty Mondays: Opposites Attract Beeswax Candles lets you make two candles, perfect for a Valentines gift or a cheap, original date night. Tickets are $29.62, and the event runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. “Bee” there!
Tuesday
Test your musical knowledge at Punk Rock Bingo. Hosted by Darren Ollinger at the Ship and Anchor from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., this event is packed with prizes, a live DJ, and pop-culture questions that’ll keep you guessing. Entry is free so make sure to gather your favorite group of punk-rockers and head down!
Wednesday
Head down to the Saddledome in support of the Calgary Hitmen in their home game against the Swift Current Broncos. Tickets are $31, and the game starts at 7 p.m. Grab a beer and some popcorn, and get ready to cheer!
Thursday
Marda Loop Brewing is hosting the perfect date night with a Valentine’s comedy special. Grab your special someone for a night of laughs courtesy of Connor Christmas and special guests Faris Hytiaa, Karla Marx and Sane Norton. Tickets are $17.31 and the event runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday
Head down to The Prairie Emporium for an evening of delicious food and drinks, and great music. FOXX Worthee is hosting this event, introducing artists such as Kaeley Jade, Josh Dillon, and many many more. Tickets range from $12.50 to $20, and doors open at 7:30 p.m.; music at 8:30 p.m.
Saturday
Youthlink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre is hosting the perfect Valentine’s date for true crime fans. Sip and Sketch: True Crime Meets True Love brings people together with a presentation about composite sketches, then you get to take a stab at drawing your partner in crime. From 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. go out and enjoy this unconventional date night. Tickets are $25.
Sunday
Chinese New Year Festival 2026 is back from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come down to the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre to ring in the new year, and participate in the events they have lined up. Lion and dragon dance, martial arts, tons of local vendors, food, and much more will be presented to celebrate. Admission is free, all you have to do is show up!
