The Alberta Craft Council’s exhibit at cSPACE offers exposure for emerging artists and craftspeople. Let us share in conversation about fine craft, community; and ways they are intertwined.

There was a time when our physical bodies were more relevant than our digital forms. The current exhibit at  the Esker Foundation in Inglewood invites us to gaze upon artifacts of that bygone era and re-attune with our flesh and bones. 
Step into an airy kaleidoscope of cut-up watercolours, gem-like quilt patterns of fragmented figures and scenery. Visitors to Kevin Kanashiro Gallery (724 11 Ave. S.W., lower level) will be greeted by over 15 immersive artworks by Calgary artist Angela Inglis.
Join me on a surprising journey to a place where two rivers meet. As your guide, I write from a table cluttered with maps. Not simple geography, these maps are multi-layered, multi-vectored and multiplying. And they are invaluable articles to time travellers looking to traverse our city multidimensionally.
